Dear Milk, We Have Trust Issues
A heartfelt letter from a modern consumer to the one thing we thought we could always trust.
Dear Milk,
We need to talk.
You have been with us since childhood. From the steel tumblers our mothers handed us every morning, to the chai we sip during monsoons. You were a staple. A symbol of nutrition. A part of every celebration and every quiet breakfast.
But somewhere along the way, something changed.
You changed.
And so did we.
You Were Once Simple and Safe
There was a time when we did not question you. We trusted that what poured into our glass came from a healthy cow that grazed in open fields, cared for by farmers who knew each animal by name.
We believed that the milkman’s supply was fresh, real and untainted. No one asked whether it had preservatives, hormones, whiteners, or detergents. No one needed to.
Back then, the taste was fuller. The malai on top was real. And our bodies felt nourished.
But in today's urban life, trust is a rare thing.
And you, dear milk, have given us plenty of reasons to question you.
Adulteration Broke Our Faith
Did you know that almost 68 percent of milk in India was found to be non-conforming to safety standards in a nationwide study by FSSAI?
That means for every three glasses being poured, two may not be what they claim to be. Some have synthetic milk mixed in. Others are diluted with water. Worse still, there are traces of urea, detergent, starch, and even harmful chemicals used to increase shelf life or simulate thickness.
You might say, it is not your fault. But we, the consumers, are left to clean up the mess. We suffer from lactose intolerance, acidity, skin breakouts and gut imbalances, and we wonder why.
It all comes back to trust. And yours has been broken.
We Started Looking Elsewhere
In search of better health and peace of mind, we started skipping you entirely. We turned to almond milk, oat milk, soy milk. We convinced ourselves they were better. Cleaner. More “modern.”
But deep down, we always missed you. We missed the creaminess of real milk in our coffee. The joy of dipping hot rotis into fresh malai. The way a glass of warm milk used to lull us to sleep.
We did not want to give up on you. We just wanted a version of you that we could believe in again.
Then Came a Glimmer of Hope: A2 Cow Milk
For years, we were told that milk is milk. But as it turns out, there is a big difference between the A1 and A2 proteins found in cow milk.
A2 milk, found in Indian desi breeds like the Gir and Sahiwal, is more naturally aligned with the human body. It is easier to digest. It does not cause bloating in most people. It is rich in nutrients and free from the inflammatory effects that A1 milk can trigger in some individuals.
When produced ethically, without antibiotics, hormones or artificial fat boosters, A2 milk becomes more than just food. It becomes nourishment we can finally trust.
That is where Binsar Farms entered our story.
Binsar Farms: The Milk We Thought Was Lost
When we heard about Binsar Farms, we were skeptical. We had heard it all before. Fresh milk. Healthy cows. No chemicals. It always sounded good in brochures.
But what we discovered was a brand that was not trying to sell nostalgia. It was offering transparency.
Binsar Farms sources milk from healthy Indian Gir cows, raised on a clean, cruelty-free farm where each animal is known, loved and monitored. The cows are not injected with hormones. They are fed natural fodder, not industrial junk.
The milk is chilled within minutes of milking, untouched by human hands, and delivered to our doorstep within hours. No middlemen. No tampering. No games.
It is everything we hoped milk could be.
And suddenly, that trust? It started coming back.
Not Just Taste. It Feels Different Too.
Within a week of switching to Binsar Farms A2 milk, the changes were noticeable.
No bloating after tea. No weird aftertaste. Kids asking for a second glass. Malai forming naturally on top of boiled milk. Ghee made at home lasting longer.
Even the simplest dishes—kheer, poha, chai, paneer tasted richer. The kind of taste that does not need flavor enhancers because the ingredients are honest.
That, dear milk, is what you used to be. And what you still can be.
We Are Not Just Looking for Purity. We Are Looking for Accountability.
Consumers today are not just buying food. We are investing in ethics. We want to know where our milk comes from. How the cows are treated. How clean the process is. And who is standing behind it.
Binsar Farms does not hide behind buzzwords. Their farm-to-home model is traceable. Their commitment to animal welfare is visible. Their team is responsive. And their delivery in Delhi NCR is timely and professional.
For the first time, milk comes with a face. A story. A promise.
So What Now?
Now that we have found something real, we are holding on.
We want milk that is rich in nutrition and light on the stomach. We want it fresh, not frozen. We want it to come from healthy, happy cows, not machines.
We are willing to pay for that integrity. What we are not willing to do is compromise on health or honesty.
Milk, We’re Ready to Trust Again. Just Don’t Let Us Down.
We know not every brand will be like Binsar Farms. And not every consumer will go the extra mile to find milk they can believe in.
But those of us who do we are your most loyal fans. And we are bringing our families with us.
To any brand listening, especially in Delhi NCR, here is our ask:
-
Give us pure A2 cow milk without shortcuts.
-
Let the cows live with dignity and care.
-
Keep the milk fresh, unadulterated, and honestly delivered.
-
Be proud of your product, and show us why.
We are no longer blind consumers. We are informed families. And we are ready to make choices based on trust.
Thanks to Binsar Farms, we believe that good milk still exists. And we hope more of it reaches homes like ours.
Sincerely,
Your long-lost but returning fan.
